Every person dreams to accomplish something, renown themselves, and becoming successful one day. Our parents even have set hopes for us that they expect us to attain. Amidst all this, the education factor gradually creeps in to add fuel to the fire. As if this was not enough already. Upon pondering on this concerning factor; education is one to take seriously, nonetheless. It is important to the point where one can make or break themselves. Pakistani students are considered the youth of Pakistan. Hence the pressure, the weight, and the passion are natural for us. Opportunities for higher education are somewhat tricky here in Pakistan. It is tricky because the corporate world focuses on education. Irrespective of the country and its norms, education is the foremost factor that companies consider when hiring an individual. It will not be much to say that education makes the identity of a person.

Benjamin Franklin once quoted:

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

So what are your plans for your higher education? What is your career plan? What are you investing in to cash out the best interest?

Troubling, isn’t it? Reality checks have always been hard, but you know life can be changed and it is never too late to try. Prepare yourself to answer these questions, come up with a plan and take your higher education seriously because it has the power to change your future. List down what you aspire to be, what is successful for you, what is the best option for you, and most importantly what is doable for you. All of the planning will go straight to the gutter if you don’t make sure that what you’re aiming for is not possible. But what if we say that studying abroad is possible too?

Yes, it is. But it gets better too. You can pursue your higher studies in Canada. It is possible because Canada has low costs, a high standard of education, and a low unemployment rate. Canada offers a large number of higher study options to international students. And students who pursue their higher studies in Canada have the opportunity to study and work there; they can work up to 20 hours per week.
